Erasmus+ Worldwide Staff Mobility scholarship for Teaching and Training

Erasmus+  provides teaching opportunities for the teaching staff of higher education institutions and staff invited from enterprises. Training opportunities are also available for teaching and non-teaching staff employed in a higher education institution. With this grant (2.800 Euro), I will be traveling to Santiago de Chile for relationship management and networking with members of staff, especially those working in faculty examination with members of staff and faculty examination officers at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Conference Award “Psychology and Brain 2021”

For the first time, the bioDGPs, together with the DGPA provided three prizes for science communication, which were awarded at the annual conference “Psychology and the Brain 2021”. They awarded prizes for excellent science communication that has already been implemented (I won this category) as well as for concepts for the future promotion of science communication. Each of the three prizes is endowed with 400 Euros.

Falling Walls Science Breakthroughs of the Year – category Science Engagement Initiatives

The Falling Walls Science Breakthroughs of the Year highlight breakthrough thinking from around the world.
Since its foundation in 2010 in Berlin, it serves as a unique international platform for pioneers in academia, industry, politics, the arts, and civil society. In commemoration of the peaceful fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, it focuses on the question: Which are the next walls to fall? The Falling Walls Foundation promotes groundbreaking ideas across borders and disciplines – and brings together pioneers and innovators form all over the world.

Scholorship (2.000 Euro) awarded by the European Commission and Freie Universität Berlin as a supporting measure for the internationalization, that offers administrative staff the opportunity to train at a partner university. I initially planned to use this grant for a staff mobility to the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia.

I used this grant for a staff mobility to the American University Beirut, Lebanese American University and Université Saint-Joseph, Lebanon.

With this grant (1.500 Euro), I traveled to Barcelona, Spain, for an intensive Spanish language course in August 2019.

‘Young Person In STEMM’ competition winner

  • The importance of engaging the next generation in the equality and diversity debate is crucial and in preparation for STEMM Equality Congress 2018, 11 – 12 October, Amsterdam, Science Impact are offering a young person a free delegate pass and the

    accommodation during the Congress.
