Hack The Wiki Gap – Writing and Research Mentor

The aim of the project is to contribute to narrowing the gender gap in Wikipedia, i.e. the gap in women’s biographies. We would also like to contribute to reducing the author-gender gap – i.e. the under-representation of women in Wikipedia communities and among Wikipedia authors.

To this end, Torten & Trompeten organised several hackathons throughout Germany. They offer a protected environment in which participants can acquire new knowledge and try things out during a weekend – always supported by their team and external mentors, such as me.
